We are committed to provide an atmosphere in which the child can develop respect for himself and others, and the tools used in work and play.

Our daily activities are designed to provide age-appropriate program in the following areas of Early Childhood Development:

English, French, Russian – speech development, learning to read, speak and communicate, introducing to children’s literature (using international and modern methods, part of Montessori methods)

Enjoyable mathematics - development of logical thinking, logical games

Science - observation, exploration and experimenting, ecological and environmental games

Arts and Crafts – drawing, painting, pasting, cutting, tearing

Drama activities – role-play, dramatic play, puppet theatre

Sensory/Motor development – building blocks, use of natural resources, playground equipment, assembling puzzles, molding clay, pouring

Music– musical instruments, singing, rhythm

Dance/ – learning dance movements, choreography, rhythmic

Physical Education – children’s fitness , gym with Steeles West Gymnastics professional instructors, sport activities and games, physical exercising

Field Trips – libraries, children theatre, museums, provincial parks, farms, places for fun.

An Alternate Day Kindergarten educational program is provided at Playland Kids Academy and Daycare Centre

The daily activities include indoor and outdoor play, quiet/nap periods, group and individual play
